Day 15?: At least I think that's what day it is... It's been hard to keep count since we got ambushed. I suppose I should start from the beginning... Mischa and I were on an all time high after moving into the new apartment and my new job as a relic hunter was so perfect for us! Aureyn REALLY knows his stuff and is always talking about obscure rarities he's heard about, so our job was easy; just go out and follow the rumours Aureyn heard and return with the relic! We had seen a few good successes too - even one I found all by myself! Aureyn couldn't believe it when I told him that a gem I found in an old Nordic ruin spoke to me when I picked it up - asking to be returned to a shrine just east of Solitude. Well, we were heading that way anyhow so it didn't seem unreasonable to do as the, err, gem asked. How was I to know that it was actually the voice of Merdiia - the Daedric prince herself! Returning her 'beacon' to it's resting place I experienced the most surreal thing; flying

Day 5: What a day! It seems my instincts were right and - with the combination of me in this powerful armour and with Mischa at my side - we were successful! On the way back from the vampire's manor, we stopped at an old shipwreck that seemed to catch Mischa's attention. Of course it was also being scouted by a group of marauders and a fight ensued. But it get's better... inside the wreck, we found treasure - REAL treasure! At least I know why those marauders were so bent on holding the place; must've been waiting for reinforcements to help them take their haul. Me and Mischa didn't need to clean the place out though - we searched the rotting old ship and found a small lockbox tucked away in what was left of the captain's cabin - among a collection of suitably exotic rarities. After leaving the wreck, we continued inland and found a suitable spot by the side of a small brook to make camp. The fire is slowly dying now, but it's light remained long enough for me to crack the lock

Day 1: I was so excited when I heard the news this morning! Old lady Jurgiksen from up at the lighthouse told everyone at the Inn that she's moving up there to save her old legs walking back and forth from the town every day. Apparently that hill gets preeeeetty steep... But this was just what I needed! With Runa moving out of Seaview, it would be empty so I could move in there... right? NO! I asked her about it and she said she would sell it to me for 6000 Septims... 6000! Though it is a lovely home and probably worth it, how was I going to ever raise that kind of gold?! I knew I would have to work harder than ever, but Runa understood how much I wanted it and so said she would hold it for me as long as she could. This might still happen... I quickly headed out and did all the chores I could around the village; I spent the morning fixing up Avalanche's shoes with Haelga at the stable (she's nice but that Dunmer guy who always lurks around there gives me the creeps!).
